Next year, 2025, we will be partnering with the North American Division for the largest evangelism effort we have participated in. Couple that with doubling our baptismal goal to 2,000 means that we are anticipating and expecting God to work mightily in the Carolinas and across the Division. Our theme is, “Pentecost 2025, Let It Rain,” and for that to happen, we are praying for every department in every church to come together, uniting in prayer for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as in the day of Pentecost, because nothing happens without prayer.
The plan is for every church and school to be involved in soul winning by conducting at least 15 meetings or studies, with five of those being public proclamation. To date, the Division has over 3,700 churches already signed up. Of those, we have 156 churches and seven of our schools signed up. We are matching the North American Division’s $3,000 and asking each church or school to do the same, which will give every church a $9,000 budget.
In addition, we are providing practical resources, available on the NAD website, for Bible studies, preaching, gaining decisions, complete sermons with PPT slides with the latest graphics geared to our modern society of the diverse population we serve. There is also a contemporary youth edition to target urban, inner-city, and a children’s edition with separate versions for ages 4-7 and 8-12.
The complete sermon packages are ready to use. Philip Baptiste said, “All you have to do is read the script with passion, with power, with enthusiasm, and you’re preaching.” Everything is editable, designed for you to make it your own. All of these resources are free through the Pentecost 2025 website.
This year’s Evangelism Impact, Jan. 2-5, will focus on inspiring and equipping attendees in all areas of the process and answering any questions you might have. We are going to be at a new location, the Sheraton Convention Center in Myrtle Beach.
Imagine the power of every church, every school, and every believer united in prayer and action, calling for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as in the days of Pentecost. This is not just another initiative—it is a movement to bring transformation to our communities, hope to the lost, and revival to our hearts. God is ready to work mightily, but He is asking for your hands, your voice, and your willingness to step out in faith. Let us not miss this opportunity to be part of something eternal. Join us as we pray, serve, and proclaim, and let’s invite the Holy Spirit to rain down and change lives, starting with ours. Together, we can witness the miracles of Pentecost once again.
